Time Management / Basic Reporting. It would be great to see a time tracker that also had a simple (Allotted Time) or Time Remaining. This is a feature often missed but helps keeps projects on time / on budget.

Would love to be able to subscribe to Clutterpad calendars in other calendar software.

Thanks for trying out Clutterpad - we really appreciate it!

Josh: Yes, Time Tracking is definitely on the roadmap.

Donnie: Yes, subscriptions to calendars is also on the roadmap.

We are just trying to get any bugs fixed and as soon as we have done that, we'll start working on the new features.

I hope Clutterpad lives up to your expectations and more. Thanks for your feedback and please do keep it coming.

Grouping todo's would be great:

- Host party
    -  Get beverages
    - Check number of chairs

Also hiding todo's until another has been completed:

- Complete project X

- Send invoice to customer

I don't have to keep looking at an uncompleted todo until I can actually do something about it.

Jacob,

We don't support multiple levels of todo items as we want to try and keep the interface as easy, simple and Clutter-Free as possible.  However, you can easily achieve what you want by creating a new todo list 'Host Party' and then adding the other items in that list. Create as many lists as you need and you can hide lists too before completing all the items in them and afterwards.

Hope that helps. Thanks for your continued Support.

I am very excited by the level of polish with Clutterpad, but there's a few things missing that's holding me back from using it.

1. A 'to do' list that acts like a planner, then an 'issue tracker' that tracks bugs.  One is for the beginning phase of development, the other is for the after-development part of the project.  To do lists can sort of be used this way, but it's really handy having a way to track the status of something, rather than just done or not.  It's hard to pinpoint exactly what's missing, but if you could add an 'issue tracker' or something along those lines, maybe even re-wrapping the to do list stuff to act more like a reporting/issue queue, that would be very handy.  I really love the way pivotal tracker does this (pivotaltracker.com), but that's all they do -- issue tracking.

2. The 'writepad' area is pretty slick, but when you have a lot to organize, it's hard when you just have one big list.  Can you have a method for organizing the documents area?  IE, I like to build outlines of a website structure, and man, with the way you have done everything else, if you had drag and drop hierarchies for pages that would be some slick.

3. It's been mentioned, but I'd love to reiterate the ability to subscribe to the calendar.  I use thunderbird and it is really nice being able to see milestones/deadlines etc right there.

4. "Milestones".  To do lists are good, but can you have each list act like a milestone, with a due date and that sort of thing?  It'd be nice to see when you've hit your milestone and can report on if you've completed it, are late, etc.

5. Time tracking of some sort.  I personally don't need much, but I like to have an estimate of how long an item might take in the to do list, then maybe a 'how long it actually took' sort of report when someone closes a to do list.

Hi John,

We do have some of the features you've mentioned coming up - but not all of them. Of course, one of our guiding principles in building Clutterpad is the ensure that it is easy to use, simple, elegant and definitely not bloated. If we added every feature that everyone requests we wouldn't be able to stick to those principles.

That said, thank you very much for all your suggestions. We will definitely keep them in mind.

Just to let you know - Time Tracking will be coming very soon.

Thanks for all your support.

Hi all,

Quick note to let you know that all our prices have been discounted. And also we have added Time Tracking to the Bronze plan ($19) and up. Hope you enjoy it.

Thanks and regards,

Very nice!  This is much more affordable now.  The basic plan is attractive for small startups, though would be more useful with perhaps 250 MB of space (similar plans offer this from other companies).  8GB is very generous for the bronze plan.  Not that I want to suggest losing space, but you probably could cut that in half, or even a quarter, and still be above what other companies do.

Could you add perhaps 5 MB to the free plan, just to users trying things out get a chance to play with the interface and see how it works?

Any chance on explaining the time tracking or giving a demo or anything like that?  Looks exciting, but it's hard to tell what it does.

Hi John,

Thanks for your kind comments.

We were so excited to get the new prices and the new features live that we haven't had time to update our marketing site yet. In the mean time, however, please sign up for the Bronze plan and check out the Time Tracking features. You can add 'freestyle' time logs and you can also add time logs for Todo items. You can, of course, generate reports from those logs.

Remember you get a 1 month free trial for all paid accounts and there's nothing better than trying it out for yourself.

Thanks for all your support.

Looking great!

Another suggestion: can to-dos show up on the calendar?  Seems like a natural state of where things should be, so you can prioritize your to-dos from the calendar overview page.

+1 for items in a to do list that have been assigned a due date to show up on the calendar.  ideally for me clutterpad would automatically create a new calendar for every To Do list, then populate each different calendar with the dated items.  (Other people might only want 1 calendar for every project.)

I just starting using clutterpad and would love to switch to it as a replacement for working with Basecamp + Google Calendar - a great opportunity to finally have all my info in one place and in the cloud.  keep up the great work!

Thanks Abbi for your kind words. What you suggested is in the pipelines. A lot of people want that feature. We are looking into the best way of doing this.

Thanks again.

We are starting to use the time tracking. Love the simplicity for what we do.

I would love to see the report be transferred into a pdf or spreadsheet for easy client reports.

Thanks

Quick update:

You can now subscribe to your Clutterpad calendars in any program that supports the iCalendar format, such as on the iPad / iPhone or iCal. You can also view calendars from other software in Clutterpad.

You can see more about this here.

Hope you enjoy the new feature and thanks for all your support.

Is there any way to apply a task list to another projects? I've just signed up for a trial, watched the videos and created my first series of task lists for a single project. Now I want to add or apply or otherwise assign the same series of tasks to the dozens of other projects we have. We execute the same steps for each of our clients, and I am looking for a way of setting up multiple projects with the same list without having to reenter the same series of tasks each time. Is there any way to do this?

We really like Clutterpad, it's very feature rich; however we need more mobility. We have several people that need to access projects on the go from their phones (iOS & Android). We'd like to see either a mobile version of the site or iPhone and Android apps. We realize this is no small undertaking, but until we have access on the go, we can't continue using Clutterpad.

Thanks for your consideration.

First of all, congratulations. Clutterpad seems to be a great project management tool, i will test it this month.

I would like to know if Clutterpad will be translated to other languages, like brazilian portuguese. Language is a huge communication barrier for project stakeholders.

@Chistopher, @Sandra, @Julio,
Thanks for all your kind words. We really appreciate that!

Yes, translation is definitely on the roadmap. Of course, we have lots of things coming and so we're just trying to prioritize at the moment.

The same goes for a mobile version of Clutterpad as well as 'templates'.

Glad you love Clutterpad!

I really like seeing todo's on the calendar, I think it make planning a bit easier. This feature would be a lot better and more useful if it had a simple print calendar key. that would produce a clean output of just the calendar. That way you can quickly print off tasks/projects and take it to a meeting as a handout. Which would make scheduling and planning a bit easier since most of our info at meetings is shared through handouts.  Anyway keep up the great work!

We need the ability to have more than one user able to administer projects. As it stands only one user is able to create a full feature project.  Please add the ability to promote other logins to be able to add users and projects under our account.

This is a great tool, people will find it easier to use if their information is not being transferred in the clear. Can we have https as for some other online project platforms?

Olalekan, you can actually use https if you want to. Simply type https://www.clutterpad.com in the browser and then log in (notice the s in https).

What about a way to establish groups, so instead of individually assigning tasks to certain persons you could put the people all into one group and then assign just to that group. Even just being able to associate projects to companies would be nice, especially if project persons could be defined by the company they're affiliated with.

Can we display the due date rather than the data input date in the overview? This will be extremely useful to see what are urgent matters to attend to. We will have little or no use to know the data input ddate. Similarly, can we also have the due date display under todo instead of just 'today, tomorrow or later?

THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!!

My earlier request of adding a print button;

"I really like seeing todo's on the calendar, I think it make planning a bit easier. This feature would be a lot better and more useful if it had a simple print calendar key. that would produce a clean output of just the calendar. That way you can quickly print off tasks/projects and take it to a meeting as a handout. After spending about 30 minutes in photoshop editing the screenshot of my todos,  (what I usually do to make my todo list in to printer friendly version) I noticed something in the upper left which says Export this todo list to pdf. I felt like charlie finding the winning golden wonka ticket. Song and all.. This got me a neat version of my todo list as a pdf which PRINTS BEAUTIFULLY! I don't think that was there before, unless I was blind to it or something and missed it the first half a year..

Just want to say THANK YOU! for making my life easier. You should certainly make that option known to all, if indeed it was a new addition. =)

Keep on rocking.

I really like this app so far. I've tested about 300 of them and couldn't decide on which to use. I like all the features of this one. One feature i'd really like to see is the ability for users/clients to reply to e-mail notification and have that reply be attached as a comment.

Is that a possibility?

Also, i think that once someone is invited to collaborate, the sign up form is too long. Clients dont' want to be bothered with yet another cumbersome application so the simpler the sign up for the better. like name, username and pwd is enough. Keep up the good work.

Would it be possible for all file attachments (for messages, comments, chats, etc) to be searchable and available in the Files section? If I want to access a file that someone attaches, I'd like the ability to quickly locate the file. Thanks!
